2 days ago, something big happened. yes, of all things, it is a proposal.
I was disappointed. With myself. y? first, i don't even get the slightest hint that it is coming. Secondly, i am still half asleep when it happened. thus i didn't get to react on the spot. So i feel lousy. Till now, the only sentence I rmb dar dar said to me while kneeling down is "静，你愿意嫁给我吗？“ it was only when i was slapped back to reality that, hey! dar proposed to me! stop dreaming!
Actually it was mixed feeling. shocked n embarrassed, touched and annoyed! Shocked that dar did it in front of so many ppl before he leaves for cambodia. Embarrassed cuz it supposed to b a mushy thing n all of my church frens n frens had to see it. arrrrrrrrrrrrrrh. Touched that he knelt down n do the super obiang proposing. Annoyed cuz he was scheming! i told him to do proposal when he back from Cambodia, when im prepared(slim down, long hair become prettier watever...) now the video of the proposal shows a fat stunned and stoned me with a super nervous him kneeling down..=(((
I had to take 2 days to recover from shock. can u imagine it. Fei say isnt it good that people know, cuz i like attention. not when it is a proposal. i prefer the people around me are strangers..cuz when there are familiar people ard me, i can't behave normally. it is so awkward! there are 20 odd pairs of eager eyes staring at you, with the 'you will say yes to him right?". and it make me a shitty person if i say no. dots. no chance to reject leh. pissed. he winner lor. so cunning.
Anyway, i'm not a dumb person, i know he spent a long time thinking thru the proposal and effort to do up the er...not pleasing to eye banner. I give him 100 marks for it. 0 marks for creativity. =x
Below is his detailed emailed proposal to his brotherhood in church, with red words commented from me after i saw it:
Operation Proposal
Mission:
To make Jing the woman of William’s life (gross)and have a memorable wedding proposal experience (i want one more time, a proper one) and cry with happy tear(what kind of description) at changi airport T1 departure gate by 07/07/09 on 0500hr.
Brotherhood Special Force:
Task force 1: Jason (the pastor)
Task force 2: Ah Seng and Ding Xin (the banner man)
Task force 3: Zhao Qi (the video man)
Task force 4: Edmund (the flower guy)
Phase 1: 07/07/09 0400hr
William and family arrived at airport.
William check in bag to counter, then meet everyone at starbuck for chat.
Phase 2: 07/07/09 0430hr
William prepares to move to departure gate.
Plus a bit dilly therely =)
Phase 3: 07/07/09 0445hr
William takes group photos with the rest then Jason prays with all of us in group.
Task force 1=> Pastor Jason specially prays for William and Jing to make time for brotherhood to get in position. (Action Time)
Task force 2=> (Ah Seng and Ding Xin) take out banner and stand behind William about 1meter away.
Task force 3=> (Zhao Qi) starts REC video and moves all people to the back of the banner to become supporter.
Task force 4=> (Edmund) standby with flower beside banner. Once Jing wear the ring, move forward to pass William the flower.
Once all people ready, Jason will end prayer. William will kneel down and commerce (commence)operation proposal till Jing accepts the ring. (That is when i got a shock of my life when i open my eyes after the prayer ends. what are those words written on the banner? 'bon voyage william' no...'m..ar..ry me..jing" AHHHHHHHH. wth! at this point, my vision starts to blur with confusion n shock, not in tears. gosh, everyone is staring at us. i am so stressed, n confused. can i say no. not that i have rejected him. but i am so unprepared!! i felt lousy. but in the end i say yes, cuz he is sincere, shivering in front of me with eagerness n sincerity. reminds me of pipi haha.I wonder if I don’t accept, it will make William the victim n im the bad guy. And a lot ppl will be cursing me cuz they are forced supporters there and dun get a good ending. Haha)
Phase 4: 07/07/09 0515hr
William will take photos with Jing, then with brotherhood. at that moment i feel like skinning him alive, pinching him n punching him. *it is all in the mind.
William will withdraw to departure gate and broad(board) aircraft.
Phase 5: 07/07/09 0600hr
William will fly off to Cambodia to cry (happy tears/ sad tears) depend on the outcome of battle result. while leaving me stoned n shocked in spore.

i guess i need 1 week to fully recover from this overwhelming event. *sad.

I have a half husband now.
My suitors must be damn sad. or is there any? HAHHA.
He is real real cunning. scared i run away from him while he is in Cambodia for 1 year ah. zzz
I dun care. i want the 'eat the ice cream and found the ring in it' proposal at a posh resturant. =((

i know u guys very eager to see photos. but i am still waiting for the kind chap who had captured the moment at airport. so far no news. *shrugs. i know qiqi u still trying to figure out how to extract the video.. who else took photo ah. =x
