Our 6th Anniversary

I brought dar to Nu You event at St james on our 6th anniversary day.. y is Dar so enthu to go cuz guest performer dat day is Olivia Ong, the girl who sang fabulous n wonderful jazzy song ranging from Fly me to the moon and Kiss me~~ While waiting for the event to start, me n dar are munching away some brownies sponsored by P.osh~~

after tolerating rounds n rounds of lame interviewing of the contestants. finali!! our long awaited singer, O livia is out to sing!!! below are 2 of her fantastic album which u may want to buy=D

After her performance, is time for the audience to paste stickers onto their fav guy!! I am so excited la..get to 'touch' the guy i like ..AHHAHA. n guess who i saw, my PR company ppl..

Gillian, she is so pretty rite?? by the way the girl in yellow dress above is her superior. look so young rite. no woner dey kana 'harrass' by some idiotic guys from uni..but they look so young. more like sec sch lor those boys. eeee..I am so excited k!!

anyway when we got home i found extra stickers in our goodie bag. so i decide to vote my dar dar as the best man in the world. would like to vote for Jesus but guess i cant.

n voted myself as best gf in my dar's world. HAHA.

was pretty disappointed cuz dar kept insisting that he didnt prepara anythg for this time anniversary. zzz..but guess wat. he got me this monkey plushie which i nagged for the past months. ahahaha.

it is now sitting in the office with me~~! feel like dar dar is always beside me ahahha.

oh ya n lastly, the goodies we got from this event. hai..this time round dar benefited cuz all are gatsby products. zzz. k la i got 1 item for lady de.. fcuk perfume sample.=((
enjoyed our time dat nite. cuz didn;t expect this year NU You Men hunt will be so much better than last year. ahah..

wah i didnt noe by doing amber a favor by answering some interview qns for her writer fren will get in onto the SDU mag..called Duet. it was pretty shocking cuz my answer to the interview was pretty extreme. no wonder amber n me submitted our photos dey choose to publish mine big big. cuz jin4 bao4 ma..my reply..can garner more reaction..anyway it's abt whether u can stand guys being more vain than u. those noe me well wil noe my ans is a strictly no! grrr. Shaomei was like tellin me one of her frens tot i broke off with william dat's y i will appear in this mag..for your info, Duet is a mag from Social Development Unit. Tiff says, as long as u r not married u r considered single. maybe that's y i will appear in the this mag. Zzz.

Pre Anniversary Preparation~~

Every anniversary, as usual, i will be baking stuff for dar. This year, not to mention, i will bake him something special. have u heard of shepard's pie? to put it layman term, it is potato with minced meat pie..As todae is depavali, a public holiday, with more free time i decide to bake in advance so dar can receive his anniversary pressie earlier too..below is some preparation pics...


some ingredients: Yellow onions(1), minced chicken meat(1 box), mozarella cheese(1 pack), mixed vege(1pack), potatos(4-5 big), cream of mushroom(1 can) total: 17.18 bucks..
this is the precious menu i got from my dear tiff..actuali she say can find online oso..she jus made it customised for me cuz she done b4 too.
first, peel all the potatos b4 u boil them..

then u mash it..

follow by chopping 1 big onion. omgosh. it jus made me tear sia.

standing far far away..

fry the onion with mince meat..

add in mixed vege n cream of mushroom..

spread the first lining..

follow by mashed potato...

lastly the top layer with cheese..

can dump it into the oven n start ovening it..

done~~~

b guinea pig first b4 dar dar eat..

after a big feast dar continue his 2nd feast at ajisen ramen at causeway pt..

dar ordered the tom yum ramen. it was quite yummy actuali..

i ordered the so called mach sundae. to me more like vanilla ice cream with pathetic macha sauce which doesnt taste macha at all.

but i stil welcome anythg that is sweet...

our anniversary will be 2 more days..n real celebration wil embark den.

recollect the old days of dar childhood

Todae is sunday. pretty bz. cuz morn had to rush for xmas rehearsal, NG so many times till i lost count. was munching away some biscuits while waiting for my scene when dar snapped a pic of me..i find it quite artistic actuali.. after a day of woohaa..attending church service. off we go, to dar Ah Ma's new house..to dar it's his childhood place actuali..a pretty old estate called the jalan kukoh.

i quite loved this pic. dar was actuali taking from the down to top angle of a flat..with the dim lightings, the color effect turned out to b quite well done=D

n the old fashioned mama shop which i miss..

finali..at the downstairs of his childhood house..there is a hawker centre right below sia..so convenient.won't starve to death as long as u haf $$.

anyway there's a reason y i post these photos..cuz dar was actuali doing a revamption to one of his cousin's house..before his ah ma can move in with comfort..

ta la~~(i sound like wallie..) the after image!! of the living room!! dar is a genius..but he invested $3000 for all the furniture lor..

can u imagine a 1 room flat to turn out to b condo like??

jus a simple trick..get the right lighting, make yr furniture simple..basic color. n yr house can look clean n yet sophiscated.

ta la~~! the room now...look so comfy rite...even i wan to sleep in there wor.

and the arrival of ah ma with her new found maid..to tk care of her once she out of hospital..

and the rest of the relatives follow in to view..those loser relatives who act reali like loser didnt turn up. cuz they scared they jealous. see this is being good n u b blessed. dar's cousin 'dali' is reali filial by taking ah ma in his house...the rest jus shirk responsibility.

ah ma catching glimpse of the old photos of her children when dey r young..

to me..now cannot depends on children to tk care of u anymore. dey can b real loser. next time i make sure i save enuff money to tk care of my retired life. i won't bother to tink whether my children would want me or not. so da old fashioned thinking. anyway they oso no need hope mummy wil give them her inhertitance. i made sure i donate all to charity or spend finish. make them earn their own money den they noe wat is blood sweat money.
