Day 1 of mission trip(chiang kam april 08)

day 1, everyone looking fresh n lively.. n off we head to chiang mai airport ~~

after 2 to 3hr of ride on plane..we change to a mini van which will take us to our desination(chiang kam: a little town)...which is 4 hrs ride away..

along the ride, we have our lunch break n i have my fav phad tai(thai famous fried kway teow aka glass noodle)

n we reached our desination!!

the room where im gg to sleep in.. thanks to vanessa, her motherly nature, she brought along pesticide spray and other anti-germs or bacteria stuff to sanitise our room...

meet up with the local pastor aka missionary..the surrounding of our church...

at nite we had our dinner at one of the local helper's resturant..super yummy~~

and we rided on the mini pickup to a local hypermart..

dingxin is fascinated with the mini trolley..

ivan is amazed with the first aid box they had there..

before we sleep, we quickly pack the gift pack we gg to give those families when we do our house visit tml...

Day 2 of mission trip.

Rise n shine..after washing teeth n face...we had our quiet time together.. get to have hands on doing the local desserts..

some blusih jelly..which i don't really fancy the taste..

den we head out for breakfast at a nearby wet market...

Get ready to head off for house visit!! our intention is to visit those participants parents, hand them a little gift and remind them the day camp for their children is tml and let them know their kids are in good hands..

setting off~~we are divided into 2 grps n im the fortuante grp who get to ride on a pickup. the other grp had to walk but those families they are visiting are within walking distance la.

the other grp get to visit this auntie who had 9 dogs...

mei feng jie is not afraid of anything. including this?? ferocious dog?? lol.

me n shaoyun visited this family who helped to take care a overseas missionary who left his son with the local while he traveled for mission work..so adorable rite?

we also visited a family whom parents are divorced n his mum left him with his grandmother while she worked outside..

Then we visited a family who is not so well to do...they stayed in those kampong house with stilts.

and so on....

david uncle is caught eating again.

after house visits we met up with another grp n head for some recreational activites..

captured some nice scenes along the way..

tian tian, the girl who is also joining in our day camp tml followed us on her bike=))

at the waterfall where we supposed to visit another family. actuali it's pei pei's(the girl in purple) mum who is selling food there.. David uncle is eating again. haha.

haha..the fish is stuffed with spring onions..so funny looking...

n my fav..mango salad!!

Then we head to wet market to buy some groceries for tonite dinner...

fu chen laoshi tried on the bike dere n give her wife vanessa a ride..preparing our dinner..

prac our thai gospel which is to b delivered on day 5 campfire nite..

Day 3 of mission trip

after 2 days at chiang kam.. i realised i need some excerise if not i become more lethargic..keep eating n no excerise..so early in the morn i went running with Ivan n Fu Chen laoshi...

the kids were early!!they were supposed to report at 930am but some reach ard 8 something..

teaching them 'Love'..

playing the blanket game..basically have to pull up the blanket n made two person hide opposite each other. the moment the blanket is dropped see who will shout out whose name first..

playing tha animal game..they will divided into 4 groups representing different animals..so each grp have to come up with a unique sound for their animal..then i will mix them all over the place blindfold..when the time start every single one of them have to make thier animal sound n find their team mates...

Next is the tele-match..

my fav game. drinking gassy drink from tall straw...

break for lunch again...yummy fried rice!
at nite i was veri sian to see unwanted visitor in female bathroom. fu chen lao shi still have the cheek to show us what he found w/o helping us to get rid of it..ended up is our heroine meifeng jie who caught it into a plastic bag n disposed it away..bravo sia..

we had night time agtehring with the pastor n their family...xin xin(the girl in blue) is really talented. she is very young but can already do translation from english/chinese to thai, can speak 3 language fluently n can sing well!!! she inherit the music genes from his dad ..som more his dad is christian song writer...
