Halloween at ZOUK~~! PART 1

Last year, the theme i went for halloween at st james is gothic,. This year, i went as students from hogwarts, in Harry Potter series..

Below is a series of our costume preparation photos..

We went all the way to chinatown from our tanjong pagar office just to find some black cloth for our capes..we almost died of headache on how we want to wear the cape. whether we need to sew or just do a simple knot can le.. end up no time n no money to ask ppl sew so Tiffany improvised and decided to just tie knot n pin to our vest.

See the logo on our cape? AMber's creation. she printed it n laminate it so it won't have dog ears.. We couldn't find any ties that match Hogwart's students. Thus we bot those plain red ones from Lucky plaza 5 for $12 n bot some yellow paint to make yellow stripes. alot work lor...

Amber has a hanging place n some mini pegs to hang our ties.. cute rite.

As for the wands, at first i suggest just pick any roadside twigs but Amber suggest to buy from florist. 2 long twigs for $2. And Tiff brought some glitter spray to spray on the tip of the wand to make ti more magical. LOL.

Actual day....

Tiff actuali bot some leather paint to color her red ronald macdonald shoe black..AHHA.Each of our costumes are packed nicely by AMber. like we are models gg for some photoshoot hor.

Amber actuali passing by behind us when i took this pic..it's reali ghostly lor. i look like orang utan. I tink Tiff look like she peeling off her skin.

This mask is reali good to remove black n white heads.

In nic's car(amber bf is so nice, gave us a lift so we can save on cab fare..) dunno y..here tiff n ginny looked so sleepy.
finali we reached zouk. bumped into ginny's fren. asked him to tk pic for us but ended up he took a pic of himself n his fren. funny guy. but he's bad at it. can't even see his face. lol.

anyway we are reali veri outstanding..anybody who notice us immediately scream harry potter!! N they are all veri excited to tk pic with us.

n we bumped into tiff's cousin. who dressed up as Genie. she is so pretty..

and we are shocked when we see PAP ppl..LOL!! i reali bowed down to them sia. i bet they got free entry with this creative dressing..some more they are clever lor..wear so simple.
saw this lady dressed up as corpse bride. was veri crowded so couldnt tk from a gd angle. tel u the crowd at zouk was horrendous...

This year zouk theme is voodoo~~! k la, ours sort of related ma..cast spells...

i reali appreciate ginny's fren Ah long below to help us bypass queue n get in fast..if not we arrive early oso no use..by the way, we got free entry!! 3 cheers sia..our efforts have not gone to waste man!! all those work n time..n sweat n money...save us $33 each for entry charge. woohoo~~
actuali this is the man who get us in cuz ah long knows him..he's kind of influential. but he's reali nice. offer us a table n free drinks..=DD
after dat off we go..to snap pics with ppl or at ppl!!! wa saw 2 full mascots..i reali bow down to them sia..won't they faint meh..from heat stroke??
and how to move in such a crowded place.
this pair is kinda cool..i luv their bloody makeup.
he got this cutesy softtoy as his glove some more..but sort of bloody too.
i think everyone loves harry potter. no one see us n say eeeee harry potter. but all they go is," eh harry potter leh i want tk pic with them!!!" even the priest couldn't resist...

i was askin this guy if his sickler is real i tink he was like " duhs of cuz not la." lol. im trying to joke ma=xx

fen arrived later with her frens..their theme is maids dressing.but i tink it's too common cuz that nite everywhere i cans ee ppl with maid dressing. so they didnt pass the judge n need to pay entrance fee. if for me i would rather go home. so ex la.
and the PAP members again. wa biang dey reali joke of the day sia..some more they reali look like lor...
some one dressed up as the spirit in this famous japanese animation called spirited away..but this person reali out to win the contest ba cuz whoever dressed the best in jap horror anime get to fly to tokyo for some animation convention..
this frankeinsten reali freaks tiff out cuz the moment he saw tiff he was like acting to strangle her. ahahha..n she was like "help me.." i find it so hilarious cuz the guy like want to strangle n dun strangle i oso dunno how to react. in the end i cast a spell on him n he "arghhh..." =.= maybe he's waiting for us to do some spells on him ba.
and the chinese ghosts..dunno how they drink water that night..tongue so long. AHHAHA.
everyone wants to tk pic with us..we are so popular..
see they are so happy like meeting hollywood stars. lol.

wah if i stil short hair den i would haf dressed up as "L' sia.

unfortunately,tiff was tired, amber has trial wedding photoshoot tml n i stil hav 2nd round of halloween cele with church frens at night safari..we left zouk ard 1am..hai shud haf stayed longer to tk more pics with funny ppl.. but well on our way out ppl immediately recognised us as hagwarts students again n wanted to tk pic with us. lol..

overall it was quite fun n fulfilling cuz our costumes are a success!!! but the waiting time can kill. we reached ard 930pm n oni went in ard 1030pm. den left ard 1am le..but at least free la.,.so no need xim tia..
