after 4 hrs of long n treacherous journey...with constant air con break down n kana con petrol money from the driver..we made it safely to our hotel..not so flattering look huh..called diamond river hotel..can stay if u looking for 20+ sing dollar per person rate.
i wish my hotel is like a resort ....
our room looks like this..it's kinda lost form so i didnt tk much pic..but i love the thick quilt it has...
den we headed off to this famous chinese restaurant at chiang mai..which sold the delicious suckling pig...but im reali eirked by the color of the crysanthemum tea..it's green in color..so suspicious looking.
this photo is actuali taken with the intention to upset our pastor haha..cuz it will be the last roasted pork we eating..de resaturant manager says dey not makin any money thus not serving this dishes anymore...
next day..7th april a mon morn..we had our quiet time together at xiaoyu laoshi's room...it's always veri enjoyable to do QT in the morn..getting close to God b4 u start your day.
ppl..dun tink we oni R & R..we got meaningful program line up hor..we had a visitation to this druggs rehabilitation centre opened by a christian organisation after our breakfast..when we reached, i saw this mother dog n puppy sleeping nearby..such a cute sight!!
ivan can do a portfolio of himself n the dog liao..HAHAH
those in this centre do up a performance for us..it was a veri pleasant n heart warming sight dat after all dat they been thru, they can stil come tog n perform harmoniously=))
some of the past addicts came up to share their testimonial..how they overcome the drugs..i realise they all started becuz of family problems...families are reali impt..
as guests..we of cuz muz perform something in return!! so i suggested to ivan to sing a thai christian song to them..luckily we both rmb the lyrics and scores..den got this guy on the left to help us translate wat we say..he used to b a heavy drug addict..now areadi a new person n pursuing bible degree in bangkok...
den we head off to where they worked..those drug addicts build bricks to earn a living....
den we went to visit female orphanage..ivan was meddling with this musical instrument n suddenly one of the pieces dropped off..he was tryind esperately to fix it back..ops..i caught u on cam...ding xin on the other hand..is trying to form good bonds with the little ger...
after the visitation..it's time for lunch!!!! caught some artistic pic on our way to a shopping centre..
omgosh..alot of ppl tryin to squeeze onto this poor looking bus...

the shopping centre has a nice aquarium..so i explored my cam function to its aquarium mode n snapped some photos.

we had japanese food for lunch!!! wa lau this set oni cost sing 10 dollars..almost everyone order the same set..tel me abt s'porean being kiasu..
as a msian..i dare to b different. i ordered soup noodle. bleah..it's ncie anyway.

it's ivan bdae soon n we surprised him with a cake!! he was veri happie. i tink so ba..the little boy beside him is actuali an orphan..veri obedient n followed the paster around...
den we took a tuk tuk back!!! all geared for shopping !!!
there are buffalos moving along the road...fu chen laoshi commented those on the road are those who paid road tax..those who didnt can oni stay on the grass. lame.
i wanna tk similar pic for my wedding album next time..ahhaha

to my disappointment..chiang mai has ntg much to shop..so we went to a german resturant for some sausages n potatos... see..nice ambience wor.
after some dinner..everyone are entertaining themselves with stupid jokes n games..like how to alternate your both hands with different signs..testing your left brain or right brain stuff..we r gg cranky le i tink.
the moment we stepped out of the resturant..i saw this cute baby elephant. well thailand chiang mai is all abt elephant..how could i not tk pic with it.. rite??
of cuz..i need to purchase some food in order to tk pci wit it.. well..didn't noe this elephant appetite so big..every sec it's demanding food from my hand..b4 i could tk some decent photos..it areadi finish the 2 packet of sugar cane i bot..bloody.
last day 8th april tues..at airport..i didnt noe chiang mai is so north..tot it's below bangkok..everyone eyes pop out when i said dat..=xx

n finali home sweet home..at first tot liam cannot come fetch me cuz he said he got army..bluff me de...he's actuali hiding at yakun cafe...but reali happie la..
