Hey Hey peeps!! me n dar back from Bintan!! It was reali a R&R time. i tink i 'Rest' den 'Recreation' most of the time..dunno y..maybe the lifestyle dere so carefree my body cells oso become slow n lazy liao..

Day 1, Thurs 20th Dec 07
On ferry~~
We nearly missed it cuz we were dashing towards the gate cuz we tot 905am ferry ma, so 830am start queueing okie wat..but ended up we de last 2 person. Managed to grab seats.=_=
Reached!! C the sign at the back is self explanatory liao haha..At the resort looking at the fishes in pond...Was waiting for our sandwich to b served while waiting for avaiable room to check in cuz we reached too early. Wa lau..dere's nothing cheap in side for us to grab end up we settled down at this cafe with 1 chicken pie costing $7.50 each. Y my memory so good thnx to the uber incorrigible pricing. Polar each oni $1.60 lor. I wish i had smuggled some from s'pore.Yea..finali got our room..woohoo..it was spacious!! with a balcony overlooking the sea, BUT, the sea was 2oom away. =(( Anyway the mattress me n liam was lying on were for massaging purpose. U can actuali called the massue to do massages at yr room..Me n dar, reali for Spa..... We went to this spa at the resort..ordered the 2 hr packages which consisted of 2 body scrub n 1 massages..each person $216...wa...damn shiok la de price..actuali thailand not any cheaper..think oso need ard $180...Below is the couple room which me requested=DD

Our room has this pretty bah tub but we didn't get a chance to soak in it cuz our packages didnt consist of any bathing=(( sadzz...oni can see but cannot use.

Nevertheless, it was a good service, just dat the massue made me n liam felt ticklish at certain part of the scrub rocess haha..n it came to this part whereby both of us fell asleep n the massue have to wake us up so we can turn our body ard. ahha.

nite time..hungry...liam had a bloated stomach, so decided to go to this restaurant that sells pasta, cuz dere will be soup..see this bowl of soup below? it cost $12. bloody hell..soup spoon oni $6 lor for this size... @#$#$%$#

Even though liam say dun worry order wat i like to eat but i cant help but to search for the cheapest price cuz i just dun feel justified with the price i paid n the type of food i got. although i tried avoiding adding cost by drinking plain water, n we oni order a soup, 2 spagetti, our bill mount up to $60. Thnx to the govern tax n service charge.

Day 2 Fri 21th Dec 07 healthy day...

1st we went gym in the morn..den breakfast n den hit the beach!!thnk u Lord for the fabulous weather or else we won b able to admire the beautiful beach dat u have created...

I started to stone under the heat n wind...

see, we are in the shade. y? cuz my sun block lotion expires le n i dun wan spend any unnecessary $ thus i rather not tan my skin..

i always had this weird pose when i jump..

I saw this cute sight. Son follows the father..It was kinda like the son trusts the father n the father trust son feel dat's y the son will walk behind daddy n daddy will let him walk behind..ahah..

After playin with the sea(i did plaed with the waves~~!! it was exciting with the water gushing at u!!) n we head to the pool, the portion where there is crudcusi..

dinner time..see the super reluctant face i had?? 1st of all it was expensive n secondly i saw this silverfish like insect crawling out of my salad..liam said it's near de sea dat's y..but seeing things crawling out isnt good for appetite u noe...

Liam paid $133 for this lobster..each 100gram cost more den $20...wth...

day 3 sat 22nd dec 07

having a last stroll to the beach b4 check out..

Enjoying the sea breeze as usual..

I saw this random sight again..where this little ang moh kid ran while her sis chase after her..if for a chinese typical family, the mum in the 1st place won't let her child run ard in the sand..cuz we are too protective nature le..

Well..on our way back..

One thing is, u can pay in sing dollars dere..if u wan avoid tips, can pay by master or credit card..or if u dunno de amount of tip to give to avoid embarrassment. It was a wonderful time for rotting n sleeping my time away though. But it was reali reali an expensive place. Even all the expenses are paid by liam(cuz he got so much more bonus den me) my heart will crack whenever we spend on meals. There were no macdonalds or KFC in sight. Wat revolves around the resort are all expensive dining places. We reali regretted not buying tidbits and maggie mee beforehand. Now i finally understand y de adults say Bintan is an expensive place. It truly is=_= although we didnt spend much on the trip(each person only $248 for ferry n 3 d2 n stay at Bintan Lagoon resort). it is the maintenace n luxury activities that nearly kill us...k above are some pics we taken durin trip..there aren't much cuz wat can u expect at resort except beach n sand???
